Annie’s sunglasses, sports tee, spilled drink, and banana reveal her morning routine of taking a jog around Taipei city. Taipei 101’s mass steel damper is seen in the background, alluding to the material and finish of the vehicle. The Taiwanese taxi sign is a familiar callback to the ride share service of years past.

Annie’s VR glasses are the biggest giveaway that she’s entered the Meta-training world, as her training shoes, a pair of weights, and yoga mat also implies. The drifting spacer knit fabric evokes a sense of agility and sports-utility. The lighting is constantly shifting between high-chroma, iridescent color spaces, alluding to her immersion into the augmented, shifting environment.

DIGITAL “MATERIAL TRAY”-SUNSET SERENADE
Crystals floating in the scene reveal a sense of formality and sense of occasion, representative of Annie’s glamorous night gala event. The softness of the turquoise dress and leather fabric harken to the gracefulness of her attire and to the carefully selected materials adorning the interior. The mysterious black textures hint at the weathered steel finish, a beautiful artisan effect that only reveals itself fully under perfect lighting.
